Bikeley is not a corporate project or an anonymous shop. Bikeley is built in Mittenwald at the foot of the Karwendel range — by someone who wrenches, rides, and got tired of how scattered the bike world is online.
Workshop roots
Behind Bikeley is Julius — a trained bicycle mechanic. Once you have removed a seized bottom bracket on a rainy November day, you see bikes differently: not as a lifestyle product, but as machinery that has to work. That perspective is baked into every corner of the platform — from the frame size calculator to the buying guides.
Why Bikeley?
Great workshops, fair dealers, rental stations, guides, jobs, events — all of that exists. But it is scattered across a hundred websites, map apps and notice boards. Bikeley brings it to one place: find providers, compare bikes and buy or inquire directly with the dealer, discover community rides. No middlemen, no data selling, no ad flood.
Honest products, small batches
Our own apparel is made in small batches instead of mass production: organic cotton, printed to order, shipped from Mittenwald. That is why shipping can take a few extra days — but nothing ends up in a landfill. The designs come straight from the drawing board: real frame sketches, real measurements, real question marks.
